This collective tarot reading came up on TikTok. It had oddly familiar themes to my own Cinderella myth being played out so, here it is: 

"there is a female that has been hiding within a bloodline that you are going to figure out some information soon that is going to bring you some type of great fortune. courthouse was on the bottom of the deck. this does have something to do with a female who was brought into your family. married your father, some way some how this female was brought into your bloodline. She's not necessarily a part of your specific bloodline. odd step mom funky freaky vibes. they showed me a connection from the outside female figure that became connected to your bloodline. but this outside female has caused disruption within the bloodline there is unexpected income, you've been feeling this, poverty and child came out, so this lady knew about this a long time ago. she was blocking this type of abundance from you because she knew that you would get some type of will, some type of trust. you have been underneath the chains of poverty for a while because of this female. and this is about to be put to the test. this is juicy. this is gossipy. this female here is acting like she is in control. she has some very malicious behavior, very manipulative, very sneaky. this heartache is about to be over. spirit is totally celebrating you and celebrating this great fortune about to come to you. i feel like this is a father figure who has died. who you have left the family line because of this woman. you walked away from this family line because of this woman. now this is all coming to a head. and you're going to find a that there is some type of offer or opportunity that you have been missing with some type of investment. everything is about to be revealed in this vision. right now we are moving through spiritual illusions with Neptune in retrograde, and these things are going to come to a head very soon. whatever this is you've been feeling it, something big is going to happen. but this is about a family bloodline, some type of royal inheritance that does belong to your bloodline. i do feel like this could even be tribal, you might have tribal ancestral bloodlines. whatever this is it's going to rock your foundation but it is going to make your financial foundation completely solid. you knew something was kept from you. you knew you walked away from this female for a reason, but something has changed in the family dynamic where this female is not an obstruction anymore. spirits are telling me that you are the privileged lady and you do deserve this. this is over. this information is going to be released on an extreme basis. there is going to be some type of communication that is brought in here about this fortune to you. i feel like there is some type of email, or a letter in the mail right now. i'm hearing blues clues "we just got a letter, a letter" in a red envelope. there is an ancestor of yours that is carrying a red envelope that is signed sealed and it is being delivered. that's all i know." 

If I get a red envelope with a great inheritance from my dad that would be a kick. If I don't, I feel as if I have received his inheritance all ready. The abundance I have gained from his efforts is immeasurable. If I use my magic as a medicine woman who sees and brings abundance to my people's lives that is from him as well. Working with plant medicine is such a gift itself. This community of women I am part of is building a collective of financially stable women then have the power to be free and live in their divine intuition. It is so beautiful to watch happening in real time. 

Here is where I want to talk about money.White-supremacist-capitalist-patriarchy is a term that was coined by Bell Hooks, a black woman many years ago and is used now all the time without reference. Why magic, or energy work, is stigmatized as taboo is not disconnected from white-supremacist-capitalist-patriarchy. All of the tools of white supremacy, which is the umbrella oppression through which and from which all other forms of oppression ultimately have their root in an absolute need to control the authentic integral power of human beings. It is not the case that all humans have access to the same amount of structural power, but it is the case that all human beings have access to their own intrinsic power. So, if you teach a whole collection of people over multiple generations that it is dangerous to access that integral intrinsic ontological power, it is much easier for them to keep people enslaved and oppressed. 

This is why magical practice is a political act and practically the most direct way to change your life for the better. The somatic workers, reiki masters, shamans, breath workers, massage therapists, plant medicine facilitators, tarot readers, dream circle or sound bath healers, etc. are all magic energy workers.

When I see stigma against using magic for one's own personal gain all I see are people that have been indoctrinated into this deeply disenfranchised model of understanding that power has to be given and given with permission. That is nonsense. If you see magical practitioners who say it is unethical to charge money for energy work, because they think that magic is just something that should be given freely tell them that is absurd. At the end of the day, personal gain, as long as it is not at the expense of someone who is in a lesser position of power than you is 100% legitimate. 

When each one of us takes responsibility for accessing our own power and uses it to increase the benefit of our own lives it flows out to benefit and help lift up other people who are in a worse position than vis a vis structural oppression. All of this to say, of course I use magic for my own personal gain. The 5 children I have, the animals I have, the houses I live in, the cars me and my kids have, the food we eat, the travels we experience, the partners that I have in my life...all of this is intrinsically and intimately connected to my energy work. That is why it is essential for me that if I am using magical work for my own personal gain I must spread that information, knowledge, privilege, and power to the people that need it. 

A pernicious narrative that capitalism perpetrates is the idea that money is hard earned and that poverty is close to godliness. Who benefits from you staying poor? It is almost guaranteed to be the people that are exploiting you. If you had more than enough money than you needed for your bills would you still go to work? Usually the answer is no. People kept in poverty need to work under any conditions in order to survive. At a certain point in life if you have access to these forms of structural power (I do as a white woman) you have got to take a hold of that power to do whatever you can to get yourself out of being exploited so you then can assist others. The collective of women that are doing this despite the non-support of their partners emotionally or financially is astounding. I watch them in many areas of my life and can answer Virginia Woolf 's question of "Why are women...so much more interesting to men then men are to women?"

One woman in our collective highlights the work that we are doing, "‘every mortal has an individual role to play in the evolution of human consciousness.’ As we do our work, and are integrating the conscious and unconscious, the better equipped we are to take part in the evolution of human consciousness, and play an active and animated role in it." It is a movement of women realizing the lies we have been sold. It is us turning to meditation and regulated nervous systems. We are opening our compassionate hearts. We are feeling our trauma and moving it through our bodies so that more light can get in. It is a connection to our own divine femininity. Our own internal radiance. It is a complete dismantling and deprogramming of everything society has told us and who we need to become. It's a softening and accepting of who we truly are. A remembering is what I like to call it. That's beauty. That's radiance. That's divine feminine power.
